I decided to go ahead and order this for my adult self! I used to love making potholders as a kid, and there are so many books and websites with patterns for more advanced designs. I want to delve in even more! This loom fits together nicely and seems sturdy. As you see in my second photo there are extra pegs so if one gets pulled off or broken you have a backup. Everything fits in the pink case and you can disassemble the frame if you鈥檇 like. The colors are neon rainbow as you see in the potholder I made, plus a light pink and a light green. You need 36 loops for a potholder and there are 224 loops included, so you can make 6 potholders before you need to purchase more loops. The loops seem to be a nylon material or a cotton/nylon blend. This set seems to be good quality, and I'm glad to have it....
