The robo dog itself is nice. The eyes light up and the color cycles. On tile/carpet/rugs, it is super drift-ey no matter what, which is actually part of the fun....

I'll just say upfront that I have not and do not use the gesture control. Have never been a fan of them. The tiny remote though works well and includes enough controls to really move this thing around, with fine control of the legs....

I ordered this primarily as a fun thing for my two border collies to chase around. They love chasing other RC vehicles that I have, and this being a robotic dog seemed perfect. As other reviewers have stated, this is a blast to drive....

Every time I give a "cool" gift to my grandsons, "daddy" plays with it too. And it has nothing to do with "teaching my son how to work it." But I can't blame him, because this little dog has it all. He's very flexible, being able to raise and lower his body, and since he's got it all -- lights, music and "action" -- who wouldn't want to play with him?...
