Lots of us recall our potholder-making days as kids, and perhaps even the potholder-making days of our own kids. I am now on the potholder-making process for my grandkids, and it has been truly fun. This kit is especially good because the loops are not synthetic, so the potholders can actually be used, unlike the synthetic loops available out there. The only thing I'd suggest is to get a long crochet hook for a child to use on this weaving. It is SO much easier! LOVE watching my sweet grandkids pay attention to what they are doing, to be mindful about the process and to interact with one of their grown-ups to get the task completed.
