This is a popular activity in my kids' Montessori school, and now I know why. After buying this for another child's birthday, my son wanted his own, so we now have one. You can get creative with your designs. The work is somewhat challenging, since the tension requires some dexterity and effort to weave the loops. I made a few myself and found the activity so calming, like a zen adult coloring book. This is a nice quality loom that comes with a sturdy hook. This is so much more than a "toy." It's a wonderful activity that produces a useful product....

Item came as described. In perfect condition. Really like that the loom is and the accessories are . Won't easily break like the cheap plastic ones. Also came with enough cotton loops to make 2 pot holders. Though I ordered to late for Xmas my kid was still excited to get it....

This loom is sturdy and well made. It is almost exactly like the one I had as a child over 50 years ago. The instructions are clear and their tips very helpful in removing the potholder from the loom as it is finished off. The loops are a good consistency for making a nice tight potholder. Even though the loops look a little sloppy before they are woven, they finish off nicely and the colors blend well. My 5 year old granddaughter loved this. She made 2 potholders immediately almost completely on her own. I do think that a few more loops could have been included. All in all I would definitely recommend this toy....

The loom is extra sturdy, The prongs lean out a tiny bit which helps hold the loops on better, and I loved the bright color loops!

The loom is sturdy and well made. Includes clear directions with ideas for different pot holder designs and a link to an instructional video. Requires some strength to do the last couple of rows. I wish I had ordered more loops with the kit as two pot holders aren't enough....
