I haven't made a pot holder since I was a child. When I saw this loom, I decided to relive my youth. This loom is so much better than the ones we used when young! It's and very sturdy. So much easier to put the fabric loops on. I'm enjoying making pot holders again! Relaxing and fun!...

I had to help my niece with the first potholder but after that she was doing them an her own. She loves picking the colors and reminds herself "over, under, over, under". Great beginner craft for young kids....

I had this as a child and loved making something I could give to someone else. I'm in my 70s now, but gave this to my 8-year-old granddaughter last Christmas. I helped her with the first one and she took off on her own. Later, I ordered extra fabric strips so she could make more. I hope her memories (when she's 70) include making a potholder with her grandma....

I had one of these when I was a kid let, and I loved it. I remember making pot holders for everyone. (Not real sure what Grandpa used his for!) I was thrilled to see one available on Amazon, and I quickly snatched it up. My granddaughter is 7 and loves arts and crafts. She's really good at them, too. This is right up her alley - she loves the colorful combinations she can make. This loom is easy enough that she can play with it herself, without having to ask for help from mom or dad. She loves this and I am.proud to now own 2 pot holders that she created just for me....

I had one of these when I was a child so we purchased this for my 6 1/2 yr old. She thought it would be so much fun when she got it but it became frustrating when the loops kept coming off as she tried to weave them through. I wound up finishing the first one for her. We have decided it's best to do a little at a time. She loves the finished product and the fact that we can use them in the kitchen....

My granddaughter is almost 6. She was able to sit down and make potholder the first time. Thought she would lose interest but loved it. I would totally recommend it. It's nice because it comes with a case to keep everything contained. I bought extra loops but it comes with quite a few- probably would make 2 potholders if you were not trying to be color specific. Recommend!...

I had an identical set like this as a kid. You get all the looms (and then you can buy refills). It's easy to use and it's fun! I wanted to share the nostalgia with a few of my cousin's kids. The loom pins are actually made very well and a heck of a lot better than my old one. Definitely would recommend!...

I had almost forgotten about this little loom -- I first learned how to make these potholders in the 1950s even before I started school (I was probably 5 yrs old). My brother and I spent many summers working on these and selling them around the neighborhood to augment our $0.25/week allowance. My mother taught us how to make them and kept us supplied with the loops while we came up with our own designs. One thing I remember very clearly -- she avoided nylon loops, preferring instead cotton loops. Why? Because the nylon loops could melt at the temperatures commonly encountered when using cast iron pans and baking dishes in hot ovens. I retained that memory, so when I saw this kit available with cotton loops, I knew I needed to try it one more time. The major difference I see is in the l...

I got this weaving loom kit because my husband and I were reminiscing about the good ole days and decided I really wanted one again. This little kit is the perfect starter kit, even for myself as an adult. It has everything you need to make the fun pot holders and a few more fun activities. My daughter tried it for the first time a few days ago and absolutely fell in love with it. The loom is now in our rotation of family fun night. Recommend it for all ages! So much fun, the materials are well made so that your crafts are not flimsy. Much better quality kit than I had as a child....
