I used to have one as a child and made pot holders for my mother and others. Later, I taught my children and now, after many years, those that I had have worn out (some were my mothers) and they are my favorite type to use. The 7" is a good size and the loops were of a good thickness. Will buy more of them to make more for myself and others. Thrilled to find this! Designs and colors are up to your imagination....

I remember playing with cheap versions of potholder looms as a kid. This is anything but those looms. The frame is sturdy with smooth enameling. The loops fit well on the frame without easily becoming dislodged. And the included crochet hook was , not the plastic one I had expected.Wanting to introduce my 6-year-old granddaughter to weaving, I bought two of these quality looms--one to gift to her for Christmas, and one for me to demonstrate to her what to do.On Christmas Day, the loom was one of the gifts she picked to bring with her to visit family.Usually at that gathering the cousins are boisterous and busy, but this Christmas an unusual quiet descended.
